The Love of My Life.......

There are no words that can explain how much I love and appreciate my husband. Do I tell him or show him enough... probably not! But my life with him has been and is amazing.

HOW WE MET....

After I had my daughter Makala, things in Florida just were not working out and in order for me to work and get on my feet I needed a babysitter that could help me with her and not charge a fortune. So I called up my father and step-mother and asked them if I cold stay with them while I got back on my feet. Of course they said yes and the next thing I knew I was transferring jobs from my Walmart to the Walmart in Fort Wayne, In and I was on my way. While I worked my step-mother took care of makala. In January of 07' I moved into my own apartment. After moving in I went to a friend from works house..Jessica... Kyle was also there. I thought he was cute but thinking how I usually do, I did not even think that I had a chance. Especially with having a daughter (oh and she was there with me). After that I started seeing him at work. (He worked there too) We started joking around with our friends about liking each other and so one day we started talking on aim and after the super bowl he came over. That night was amazing. We stayed up ALL night just talking. He had class in the morning too but he stayed anyways. After his class he came back and hung out some more. LOL I was texting a friend about him and she texted him that I wanted to kiss him and well...... We have been together ever since!!!

HIS FAMILY/ Air Force / Engagement/ APARTMENT FIRE.....

Where to begin... I will not judge them because I do not know them. I think that they were only trying to do what they thought was best for him. While at the same time he was doing what he thought was right for him. There was some arguing between him and his dad and step-mom and it was not good but I have to say that I am proud that he stood up for himself. That takes a lot of courage. During all of this he was trying his hardest to get into some good companies up there. He had the ability to do all the jobs, however the only thing that stopped him from getting them was that fact that he had no experience with them. This is when he decided on his own that he would join the Air Force. I did think at first that he was going to leave and I would never see him again. But I hoped that things were good enough for us to be together no matter what. As time went by we began to talk more about us and the Air force. We decided that we would move to my moms before he left and move together once he got stationed. In the beginning of December we went to the mall and were looking at wedding rings :) ... We picked out a BEAUTIFUL ring and when we got home he got down on one knee and proposed in front of our pretty white christmas tree! It might not seem like it was much but to me it was EVERYTHING AND MORE!!! Things were going great.. and one evening about a week before Christmas.. we were woken up in the middle of the night by a little boy nocking on our door... LOL leave it to kyle to go to the door and scream.. what the f is going on.. The little boy said " my mom told me to tell you that our apartment is on fire". Yep thats right on FIRE... The building was smokey and we had to get out. OH IN THE FREEZING COLD!! Come to find out it was a furnace that caught on fire. Well we ended up that we could not go back into the building. What were we going to do?? Well I called my dad and he put us in a hotel for a few days. Then kyle got us another hotel for a week. Then we stayed in my dads empty house( in the laundry room) After christmas we just decide that we were going to florida instead of waiting until March. So we packed up our truck and drove to florida. We stayed at my dads house for a while and then onto my moms in tampa. I had transferred back to my old store and kyle was great and stayed home with makala. At the end of February we drove back to my dads house because they were going to bring him with me to the airport at the beginning of march. Letting him go was so hard. I was going to miss him so much! He went and visited with his family until he had to leave to go to basic training.

BASIC TRAINING.... 03/11/08

Wow... it was hard not talking to him or hearing from him all the time. when he first called my heart was pounding like crazy. It was so great that he called and he gave me his address. I then had to call his dad. This made me so nervous... I do not know him and did not want him to be mad that kyle called me and not them. Well I missed him like crazy while he was gone. I wrote all the time because I wanted him to know how much I missed him and cared about him. I do not know what he went through during that time but i'm proud of him and for the man that he became.

BASIC TRAINING GRADUATION... 04/28/08

Oh how excited and nervous was I to finally be going to see him since he left. Mom and I were on our way. Now do not for get that I had not seen him since the beginning of March when he went home. My heart was pounding from the moment we left the Tampa Airport till the time I first saw him! WOW he was so tiny. He really had lost so much weight and I already thought he was small to begin with. He was so tan from being out in the sun doing all the marching and what not. But I was so excited when I saw him. My heart was just wanting to explode out of my chest. It was the best feeling in the world. I was so proud of him for everything that he had accomplished. He received honor graduate and honor flight! wahoo!!! So that meant we got extra time together! We went to a hockey game and to Sea World. We had a good time but the poor thing had strep so he was not feeling good. Though he did make the best of our time together even if he did not feel well. I was sad that our trip was ending but knew that I would see him again and now I could talk to him more then just once in a blue moon. But it was still hard to say goodbye.
